Xitlaly performs at last year’s National Poetry SLAM! at the Apollo Theater in NYC.  This year’s SLAM! is April 16th.

America SCORES Bay Area delivers soccer programming six days a week, after-school, during recess, and on Saturday Game Days.

The Inspired Art Project takes poems produced by America SCORES youth and asks local artists to create one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by their words.

The Legacy Awards is an annual event that honors outstanding volunteers who have made a game-changing contribution to create a better future for children in the Bay Area.

Our Mission: Founded in 2001, America SCORES Bay Area inspires urban youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world.

The Bay Area affiliate of America SCORES began its first year of programming with 150 youth in five schools in San Francisco.  We have grown to offer programs to more than 1,000 youth in grades one through five in 25 schools in San Francisco, Richmond and San Pablo.  America SCORES Bay Area impacts communities through the power of teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
