SCORES’ year-round soccer and health curriculum teaches students the importance of healthy lifestyles, emphasizing eating healthy foods and fun ways to be physically active.

A study by SCORES found that 87 percent of poet-athletes can run at least 15 percent further by the end of the season, meaning improvements in students’ aerobic capacity.

Because SCORES plays noncompetitive soccer, teams are ranked based on their demonstration of the three core values of America SCORES: teamwork, leadership and commitment. At the end of each season one school, one boys team and one girls team are presented with the Golden Ball and the Golden Boot awards based on their dedication to these three principles.
