The fall season is getting underway.  In Fall 2011 America SCORES will be serving more than 500 3rd-8th grade poet-athletes.

Come support, volunteer, and share in the students’ success at this season’s events:

• Inspired Art (Sept 8-30th): Experience this unique, month-long art exhibit which “Draws voices together” across Chicago.  Local artists create work based on the poetry of America SCORES poet-athletes.  Learn more at www.inspiredartchicago.wordpress.com.
• Community Slam (November): Feel the energy and the beat as 500 students share their collective and individual voice on-stage for their peers and families at the Community Poetry Slam.
• Red Carpet Poetry Slam (January): America SCORES’ premier gala event hosted at the magnificent School of the Art Institute Ballroom.  Enjoy an elegant night of youth poetry, live music, cocktail hour and a silent auction.
