America SCORES Denver is proud to be an official Charity Partner of the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon again in 2012!  We must have a minimum of 15 runners that will participate in the full, half, team (relay), or ten mile (new!) event, and we hope to surpass our 2011 numbers, which included five relay teams or 20 runners raising over $4,500.

Toward that goal, our very own Executive Director, Brandon Blew, has committed to running the entire 26.2, which includes a run through Mile High Stadium this year.  Thanks to Brant Witzel, of last year’s top fundraising “Porcelain Hammies” team, who has also jumped up to the full marathon distance! We are really excited to have Cowell Elementary girls’ writing coach, Erin Grossi, and Up2Us Regional Coordinator, Nikki Pond, running the half marathon for America SCORES Denver this year!

If you would like to join these fine folks, SCORES will once again pay your entrance fee for the race, provided you commit to raising a minimum of $125 as an individual, or $400 as a team (5 individuals).  Fundraising tools will be provided, and awards will be given to our top fundraisers.
