The Development Board contributes to the strength and sustainability of America SCORES LA by building a broad base of support through advocacy, volunteerism, recruitment, special events, and fundraising efforts. Specifically, the Development Board’s core responsibilities include generating a greater awareness of SCORES programming throughout Los Angeles’ business community. Most importantly, Development Board Members are expected to show an interest in the priorities outlined in America SCORES’ mission, and demonstrate support of theses priorities in all of their efforts on behalf of the organization.

A group primarily made up of young professionals, the Development Board has no size limit. As the group continues to grow, their involvement in programming and their vocal support throughout their workplace and the Los Angeles community will garner additional attention from media, volunteers, foundations, and corporate funders.
