Synopsis:
We asked visionary painters, illustrators, photographers and mixed-media artists from across the city (and beyond) to create and donate a work of art inspired by one of our students’ poems. On Wednesday, April 27th, 2011, the artists, our friends and supporters joined us in admiring the original works and the poems that inspired them during an evening of cocktails, music and a silent auction of the art, 33 floors up at Midtown’s Sky Room.
