America SCORES St. Louis, the Nine Network, and ex’treme Institute by Nelly hosted the 1st Annual #STL Celebrity Voices on Saturday, April 28th. It was a magical evening of poetry, music, and celebrity voices at the Sheldon Concert Hall filmed by Nine Network as part of the national media initative American Graduate. OUR UNIQUE APPROACH: America SCORES St. Louis is a non-profit youth development program that has engaged over 2,000 urban youth in soccer, poetry and service-learning since 2005. We create teams through the sport of soccer, bring these teams into the classroom to discover their voice through poetry, and as a team, poet athletes learn to use their voices to make change in their communities.
